Pros

Minimal. Cellphone and internet compensation. Updated IT equipment. Compensated for IT training and certifications.

Cons

Managers are not qualified, they have simply been there the longest. Total lack of direction in IT. Most of their IT framework is based on 40+ year old technology. STRONG resistance to change. Several "dinosaurs" in place that will hold back the company in power. The best interest of the business takes a back seat to the personal gains of the company. There is so many people with IT Titles that do not know what a USB port is. Acquisitions are done from the book "How not to do acquisitions". Very little accomplished each day as most of the days are spent in useless meetings that will take place 10 times with the same result. This is a stagnant IT organization with little to no chance for growth. Backstabbing is commonplace. This was a good stepping stone where I learned a great deal, but I would not recommend it to anyone who truly cares about their job and what they do each day. Work/Life Balance is horrendous. There is many weeks where I worked from sun up to when I passed out. Bad employees are kept to fester like a bad piece of meat in a refrigerator. Good employees are not compensated and simply worked to makeup the difference.

Pros

There are definitely some reasons why some would want to work here. Are you single and have tons of time on your hands and no experience anywhere? Then this job may be for you. Bunzl anaheim hands out overtime like candy. The benefits are okay and the vacation times are decent. Great team of guys. Some of the best friends i have i met there.

Cons

Local company morale is shockingly low. Really low. Trash flows downhill as they say, and here that is the motto they so adhere to. Upper management dont care how they get results, they just want results even if they have to break a few fire codes. Lower management take it out and blame the hourly wage workers. There are few good eggs in lower management but they are far and few and thus dont hold much power or say so. If you work on the night crew you will be the lowest of the low and highly expendable even if you been there for years. Which is sad because they do the most work. If you want to advance you wont get anywhere here. In my experience its favoritism over seniority.

Pros

Average 30 hrs overtime a week makes the money pretty good

Cons

Supervisors are the meanest, cruelest, ruthless people you coud meet. They let most people go on there 59th day so you dont make the union. Mandatory OT overnights union and company are the same people. They work you to death and threaten you with your job almost on a daily basis.
