Pros

There are some great employees there who are good at what they do but would be better suited anywhere else.

Cons

People at the top reap the benefits when things are good, but everyone else below them is blamed when things go awry. There is a complete disregard to anything involving company structure, organization, transparency and an overall clear sense of direction. Management loves to "dangle the carrot" but sets you up to fail along the way. BURKE is not an viable, functioning agency, it's a place where people go and realize the grass is not greener on the other side.

Available technology and equipment was great.

Cons

Wrong people were put into positions of leadership. Micromanagement was rampant. Creativity was stifled.

A Lot of Problems But Great Coworkers

Pros

Great location and nice coworkers. Work/life balance is okay for some departments. There's been attempts to ensure a good culture, but not quite there yet.

Cons

Extremely high turnover rate. Web and Design teams are constantly understaffed and overworked. There is a lack of qualified leaders (some management excluded) and very little communication. Most employees are severely underpaid (even for a local ad agency). Questionable business ethics.
