A fast growing company with great transformation

Pros

* Everyone is super collaborative and willing to help. They all care about the success of the company * Technical discussions are all very good. Even though different people have different viewpoints, people are able to come to consensus * The current exec team is amazing. It is not easy to be a growing and profitable mid-sized company in this uncertain economy * Opportunity to work remotely (though at times it can be a bit boring)

Cons

* We provide a very critical service to our clients and their employees. We are dealing with people's healthcare benefits/coverage, etc. There is definitely pressure to keep the service up and running all the time. The good news is that we are doing that much better recently. * The company is certainly very cautious about expenses in this uncertain economy. * Compensation for engineers could be a bit better

Used to be a great place to work

Pros

Pay seemed competitive for people willing to go above and beyond Plenty of opportunities to stand out and be recognized Remote work is very flexible and the company is understanding of personal issues that need taken care of during a work day Everyone is very collaborative and willing to help out

Cons

The company culture has shifted from a few years ago. You are treated less like a family member and more like cog in the machine, especially if you are competent. The company leans way too hard on people who can do their job and not enough on others and burn out is a real real thing.
