Pros

Great opportunity to move around and experience different areas of the company to find where your best fit is. Rotating around in the company allows you to meet so many people right off the bat, and a holistic view of the company and what each department does. Great for people who might not know right away after college what they want to do--you can find your expertise within the program. They also plan lots of PDP activities for you to get to know your peers and get involved in the community.

Cons

Starting off in the Service Center is hard, but it truly does help you understand the business and prepare you for your remaining rotations--it's a great learning experience! Knowing the timing of rotations can be somewhat frustrating, but it works out in the end! Patience!

Thank you for your feedback, we are very proud of our Professional Development Program and are always looking for ways to improve upon it. The work our Participant Services employees do can be very tough; however, I am glad you recognize how truly critical that work is to our clients and members.

Pros

Businessolver is a fast paced growing company with so much potential. They have an amazing foundation and diversity program. The core values are to assume positive intent, to have a growth mindset, to follow the reverse golden rule etc. They offer a wide variety of benefits. You will meet lifelong friends here easily.

Cons

You are moved from teams frequently. Each manager can decide how their team functions. Depending on the team you are put on you can be left vulnerable to cliques and unfair workload and micromanagement. Reporting to HR will not solve the issue as the parties you are reporting are alerted and you remain on the same team with the very people you reported. I worked in multiple departments throughout my almost 6 years of employment. I was on starting teams for new services and excelled. I always received good feedback from my peers, clients, managers. My yearly reviews noting that I was "going above and beyond". I won an Apex award which is an award highlighting that you are what the core of BSC should stand for, I was a foundation ambassador. I was let go before my GPS even ended with no fair explanation other than "the decision has already been made". My work / my time meant nothing. I would have easily been a lifer.

Pros

Working remote Meeting new friends over trauma bonding because of this place.

Cons

-you can provide constructive feedback for 6+ months about your leader and nothing will be done. -you have to sit through power points daily that cover topics such as “stress is a choice” and “earning more than your fair share” -there is no transparency on how to get your bonuses. -to get a raise you have to be a “high performer” but no one can tell you what that entails. -the workload vs. compensation is not equal or fair. -the company is growing at a rate that is NOT sustainable. -getting promoted is based on politics and not actual work ethic. -if you are planning on quitting don’t give your notice because they will just “fire” you before the two weeks is up for some BS reason, will not send a follow up email and will not have HR or another leader on the call. -you never receive constructive feedback even if you ask consistently. -your pto usage can be contingent on certain things or just denied for no reason. -there is A LOT of promoting of working significantly more than 8 hours a day if you are salaried. -if you accurately pulse and it’s anything other than green or blue, leadership doesn’t hear you out and just shames you for it. Even if its a ONE time feeling.
