Pros

Great for those looking to be fully remote and delighting clients doing what ever it takes(right or wrong)...

Cons

Typical small mom/pop Ben Admin company run by a married couple who have weekly meetings. It’s very cultish like. Businessolver has a thing called Blue Sparkles which they have already talked about in other reviews. I would be in so many meetings that the question would come up when a meeting started. I honestly heard it so much that I thought they were asking if I had blue balls. Businessolver will brag about not having any layoffs. However, they do dismiss people via Teams meetings (one of the very few meetings they don’t bring up Blue Sparkles lol) or people are lucky enough to leave on their own terms. Either group will definitely tell you that they had to go to therapy after they left. Businessolver brags about hiring SMEs the Go to Persons in the industry, which is great but if the tools/technology being used don’t support all the knowledge you have, you are not able to do your job. It’s easy to become the punching back in any of the Client Facing roles and also inherit the headaches from priors. Being a Ben admin as they claim they are a Tech company, the benefit offerings they provide are very expensive.

Pros

The people that do the day to day work are some of the smartest people that I have every worked with. Benefits and base Salary are pretty good. Middle management is excellent.

Cons

Upper Leadership has lost touch with their employees. Q1 bonuses were suppose to be paid out at the beginning of May but were just paid out. Calculations for incentives are deliberately confusing and not transparent. Incentives do not recognize individual high performance or when additional work is taken on due to staffing issues.

Pros

unlimited PTO, 401k, health insurance, dental

Cons

low pay, micromanagement, favoritism, management is hypercritical, lack of coaching. A lot of fake smile, not worth the stress.
