Pros

The BCBA’s are passionate and kind. The families are usually welcoming and warm and it’s rewarding work.

Cons

The company expects us to provide, pay for, and prepare supplies for session. Technicians do not get paid outside of session for preparing materials. It’s also against “ethics” to ask the family to print materials for session. Also, we’re hired as part time employees and it is nearly impossible to maintain 30 hours per week to be eligible for benefits. There’s no guaranteed work because the family can cancel for any reason.

Hello, I am sorry to hear you had a negative Butterfly Effects experience. Just to clarify: 1) The Behavior Technicians are the important people in the company. We reimburse all materials and mail pre-made educational materials upon request. 2) We supply PPE such as face covers. We have purchased and distributed hundreds of face covers to our staff and provided a $10 PPE stipend to each employee. You should have never had to purchase your own face over. Our COVID-19 mitigation strategies are best in the industry. 3) BE’s Behavior Technician rates are above the industry standard. Unfortunately, the reimbursements rates we receive this type of service are not exceptionally high. Again, I am sorry you had a negative experience. Pros

The women that are my supervisors are really great! Thoughtful and they do take into consideration my hours for benefits.

Cons

Been working FT since March. I was told that I needed to work about 3 months ft to get benefits. I’ve done that, however when I reached out to HR they told me something totally different. So I can’t speak on the cost of them, only that I was told you need a certain # of hours per week- and then it needs to be consistent over a 6 month period....

Pros

Sometimes get your clinical rate which is decent pay

Cons

Literally everything, including working large amounts of unpaid hours and being treated like complete garbage every day. Will make you so depressed you can hardly function and will continuously lie to you about every aspect of the job. Only apply here if you like being lied to about job descriptions and like being told things like the company culture is changing for the better. No one who claims that is honest

Our job descriptions detail whether positions are full-time; part-time; exempt or non-exempt; and we respect the decisions of employees who wish to seek full-time employment markets. All employees with compensation concerns are encouraged to contact our VP of Human Resources for resolution.
