working with kids is fun

Cons

3 months of “training” and only got paid for in person training. which was only about 6 hours altogether. They did not communicate that the online training did not count towards pay. Barely any hours to really get paid.

Pros

They sent a kit when I first started with several tools and reinforcers to use with clients. Some flexibility with scheduling. Pay was OK. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Cons

Sometimes communication from management was poor. You were encouraged to take your personal laptop to session to bill during the last 10 minutes, however, that was often difficult because you would need permission from your clients to have access to the internet. So, I'd often bill at home on my own time. I was also encouraged by supervisors to buy supplies and rewards with my own money which was a bit frustrating. No main office to go to - only client homes and working from home.

BE recently closed down operations in the Wilmington, NC area. Lots of hard working, qualified BCBAs and RBTs laid off. Likely reason is BEs longstanding misconception about quantity over quality. Overworked employees with little support
