Pros

-Provides your initial RBT training - Somewhat flexible -Dress-code is relaxed

Cons

-Your hours can be cut at no fault to you and you will be punished for it. Example, client goes on vacation for 2 weeks. You lose your full time status and have to earn it back which takes 6+ months. Losing your full time status means you lose your benefits. -Worked shifts without lunch breaks. Sometimes 9 hours back to back. - Not having enough staff lead to several issues. - Use your own internet device to record data and write billing notes. If broken by client, you are not reimbursed. - Could be scheduled with back to back clients that require over an hour of drive time between. - Minimum of 3 hour sessions required. This usually means you can only work with two clients a day. This also means that school aged children will need to complete a full day of school and then do 3 hours of ABA in the evening.

Hello, I don’t know your personal circumstances, but a six-year employee is critically important to BE. All long-term employees receive an anniversary bonus ($500) when working for five years. Our benefits and hourly rates are typically within the average to above average range for industry. We also have promotional opportunities for RBTs, where they can become mentors and enter the company’s graduate assistance program to earn their BCBA. I wish you had a better experience, Dr. Steve Woolf, BCBA-D and President

Pros

Great start if your first job working towards becoming a BCBA

Cons

Everything. They guarantee you benefits you never get. Very unsanitary, kids were catching COVID back to back. Lots of unethical things going on.
