Pros

Some families are great to work with and some parents are very involved. Depending on your area, you might be able to work with a client near your home.

Cons

The hiring process is ridiculously long (3 months) The "town hall meetings" seem ridiculous for someone making $15/hr. There needs to be more communication directly with supervisors and other therapists on your same cases, as opposed to "mandatory" town hall meetings to give advice on how to run a company that seems to be falling apart. The workload is way more than you are compensated. Paperwork, time sheets, driving time, there are other part-time jobs that require much less work without the hassle and strings attached.

Thank you for your honest feedback. The hiring process is dictated by the industry and in some areas requires us to devote the time and effort to meet the RBT requirement. Most of the time, this is a lengthy process depending upon the effort on the part of the Technician and the resources locally to proceed through the credentialing and competency process. The good news is that in the end, you walk away with a career path and a credential that you can take anywhere else in the U.S. for free. Most of our Techs are students moving toward a BCBA certificate and thus the role of the RBT prepares them for their career. Just to note, the Town Hall Meetings are not mandatory and the goal and feedback elicited from the team is that these have helped to provide a level of communication so that all team members are united in organizational goals. However, I understand that the focus must also be on team communication which is in the hands of the local leaders. We have changed the clinical leadership in your area and we look forward to making certain your feedback is valued to improve the team member experience so that it looks and feels great everywhere, not just in some parts of the country. Wishing you well in all of your future endeavors.

Pros

Good clinical team , great services to clients

Cons

extreme delays in responding from upper management. This is a large company with services in several states. But not organized efficiently that results in poor communication from upper level management

Thank you for your input. The reality of this situation is that not all team members are hired in a full-time capacity and to that end, full-time team members come first for assigned hours and clients. If you were misled through the on boarding process, I sincerely apologize. Our team member engagement scores demonstrate a different picture of the company today and while we strive to work collaboratively across all levels of the operation, I understand that we will always learn valuable lessons and as a result, shift our structure, best practices, and tactical approach as we have done so resulting from this specific experience as well. We wish you well in your future endeavors.
