Pros

Byline had no pros. Don't waste your time.

Cons

Does not match 401k and charges a fee to have it withdraw from paycheck . They have not given pay rise in the last 5 plus years. HR dept only refers you back to your manager for everything. Everyone in each department are unprofessional. The atmosphere feels like the company does not care about their employees or customers . Most Branch Managers leave early all the time. Plus when something is need no manager nor regional manager ask the employees calls. Employees don't get reduced pay when going on FMLA.

Pros

Lots of PTO time , great co workers, jeans on Friday’s

Cons

Bad management and leadership. Micro managers that don’t know how to do their job. Pay sucks. Have to schedule all pto months in advanced. HR doesn’t care about employees well being. They rather lose good employees than to fix or get rid of the bad ones .

Pros

I feel that I am working with professionals that I can learn from and that push me to take on new and challenging opportunities. I feel respected and valued for what I bring to the Bank. The flexibility to attend to family matters (if necessary); and the encouragement to come up with my own ideas with the possibility to actually implement and act on those ideas is fantastic! The People here at Byline genuinely care about each other personally and work together as a team. Additionally the tasks are personally challenging and align with my ultimate career goals. I feel that I am able to make a difference and add value each and every day. Management has an open door policy and supports open-ended conversations. The management team never hesitates to provide advice or support if requested. Diversity across the Bank (Gender & Ethnicity) is positive. It's great to see both strong females (and males alike) in Senior/Executive level positions. Byline is a great place to grow - and with our many locations, it is also great to collaborate and learn from other employees and business units.

Cons

The Bank is in ultimate growth mode and there is a lot to be done. Sometimes the day goes by and I wish for additional hours. With so much positive growth, getting all employees on one page, culturally, is taking some time. This can only be resolved over time and the change will not occur overnight. Sometimes it is tough to get decisions made, and employees may feel as if they have less autonomy than desired. While there is not a one size fit all solution, more streamlined communication and processes would be ideal.
