Good experience with working with others Some degree of flexibility

Cons

Promotions, bonuses and pay rises are given based on relationship's with the senior management and not merit or achievements, if you do well chances are you'll get nothing for it unless your within their circle of trust, fact is that everyone else outside the circle is a nobody in the company. Very poor Management, company is run by people with very little skills and knowledge in the required areas. Recently they laid off very important assets of the company which were essential to make the company run, from information around nearly 30% were laid off and now they are spending more money in trying to cover the holes they made for themselves.

Pros

The thing I liked best about working at Bytemobile was the technology. It was very good experience for learning about the mobile space. There are many issues dealing in the mobile space ( ads, compression,media types) that you would not think of unless you were exposed to it. The work was challenging.

Cons

January 2012, they just laid off half the company due to money problems, I guess ATT success with LTE is something they didn't count on. Avoid this company as a place to work , work week is now 60 hours, weekend work is now common. The information posted by other reviewers is still true ,company run by inner circle. Promotions, raises, who gets laid off are all determined by if the inner circle likes you or not. AVOID this company. The company is run by a bunch of college kids that have never had a real job, this is why they make so many mistakes. This company constantly struggles with money issues.

Pros

Relaxed work schedule, no weekend work, good technology space to work in(mobile Internet), some good technical people

Cons

Little career promotion opportunity, small circle of people running the show, agree with previous review regarding vp's brother (came in fresh out of college, now in charge of the most important product line, reports to his vp brother, gets all high visibility exposure inside or outside)
