      Good place to learn the industry, if you are a good brown noser you may be able to "advance"

      Pros

      Robinson is a great place to learn about the transportation industry. There are also a lot of great people that work for the company and I still have great relationships with a number of people I used to work with. Company functions are also fun because there is always free booze!

      Cons

      Starting pay is very low and unless your branch is growing that won't change much. You aren't paid on personal growth. Depending on the manager you have you may be micro-managed.

      Pros

      The people really was great but the environment sort of distorted the pleasantness and attitudes. Everything started out great but after awhile working there the venom/horn started to come out. Jealously breeds angry and hatred. Its no place of someone who wants to flourish and advance. IT DOESN'T EXIST......

      Cons

      They don't like very intelligent people because they know they will be too expensive to maintain. The salary is nowhere near cost of living. You are below poverty level (hence the reason why they hire a lot of college kids) but they try to suffice with commissions/bonus (not by much though). The people were great but the environment was terrible. Not much room to grow so if you want to advance make sure you consider the downside of advancement ***IT DOESN'T EXIST.

      Pros

      Laid back atmosphere and you really have to screw up to get fired. Very nice and cordial workers and there is a lot of work/life balance opportunities. Very casual dress is many departments.

      Cons

      Very flat organization, not much mobility to professionally and personally grow. Managers play favorites and it seems you get promoted when you are one of the favorites or have been there for 10 years. Lack of communication between groups and divisions.
