Pros

Work with friendly co-workers Competitive base salary

Cons

Technology is treated as a cost center by the larger business - not a growth lever. Having a hard time retiring legacy tech, due to the business not wanting to make hard decisions. Torn between trying to leverage a self-serve technology platform and wanting to handle each customer with white gloves. So they try to do it both ways and cut costs on both sides. Leading to layoffs but not enough staff to do either well enough.

Pros

Pay for upper positions was good. Pretty good benefits like health, 401k match, paid time off.

Cons

Pay for lower level employees was bad, resulting in turnover you are accountable for but have no control over. Told to run your business but every decision has to be approved by multiple layers of leadership. Way too many levels of bureaucracy. Constant change with no sense of how to accomplish goals. Blames the economy for loss of business but their outdated systems and constant change is the biggest reason
