Pros

The company is growing and evolving the right way. Great people, many who have been there for years, others who joined recently. Strong culture. New leadership team, including new CEO who partners with President to promote a strong vision for C2 and its employees. Some negative reviews are simply false. The previous review by a former disgruntled recruiter ignored everything C2 and its founder did for them...including paid month-long trips to visit family overseas, work-from-home arrangements when loved ones became sick, five-figure raises on top of six-figure salaries. C2 sacrifices for its employees, and yes, it expects some respect and hard work in return. Often times employees take advantage of C2 and are quick to blame the high standards promoted by the founder, a woman who literally built the company by herself over 25 years.

Cons

Every department can benefit from better communication and stronger interpersonal skills. This is a blue chip initiative for C2 in 2019.

C2 is a stepping stone

Pros

Casual attire is allowed. Onsite parties and occasional catered lunches. Many co-workers are nice.. C2 is a good stepping stone to learn more about the HR profession and ASO/PEO.

Cons

-Extremely high turnover. Many new employees are either fired or quit in the first few weeks or months. -Micromanagement. There's not much autonomy, and there are lots of forms to fill out. Computers and email are monitored. Time sheets are scrutinized (even if you're salaried). Work schedules are rigid. Employees whereabouts are tracked. -No reviews and little room for advancement. It's strange that an HR company doesn't formally review employee performance. Accomplishments aren't given much praise (such as bonuses or merit increases). It is very difficult to get an independent raise or advance in the company. -Intimidating work environment. You have to have a thick skin to make it here. Don't speak unless spoken to, don't make eye contact.
