Pros

- Some great people with a lot of expertise and experience. - Flexilbe work arrangements, depending on who you work for.

Cons

- Mainframe development is being led by a salesman who has no clue about how to build new products. - The company in general has no clue about how to build new products. - Jobs are being off-shored at an alarming rate. - Some real idiots at all levels of management. - Multiple concurrent major company-wide mainframe initiatives have left most products unable to deliver any new function.

- Pays you above market average - Engineers of CA have a good Brand image in the market - Quality of Work (depends)

Cons

- Absolute pandemonium when it comes to managing people. - Management is very autocratic. - Performance Appraisal process is the most archaic I've ever seen. - Hike, Performance Appraisal, Promotion solely on perceptions of management. - ITC (India Technology Center) management treats US office as their customer. ITC Management tries to appease US Management all the time. - No work life balance. - You might be working for late hours in the night for years only to know in the end that, your stuff is being thrown out. - Jr most Employees are blamed for big failures. - Management takes credit for success but failures are blamed on specially ITC. - Highly incompetent middle management - It's Jungle Raj, hardly any camaraderie between colleagues. 'You are on your own' is the name of the game. - You are counted on no of hours spent in office. - No process at all for any of the software development activity.

If you get a right product then there is some good work going on.

Cons

The company has been trying to recover for last 6 years.There is still issues with growth that does not match with the plan layed out 3 years back.The company is forever in cost cutting mode.
