Pros
Salaries are competitive compared to other area employers. The cost of insurance is reasonable compared to other companies, though there was a time when it was provided free of charge. The stock purchase program provides a means for employees to show a small profit from an otherwise lackluster stock.
Cons
Management's parochial attitude toward employees. CA has some of the finest professionals in the industry, yet they are treated as though they cannot be trusted. The threat of phone calls and computer usage being monitored does not foster a positive attitude among employees. The feeling among many employees is that they are viewed by management as inherently untrustworthy.
