Pros

Still entrepreneurial after 50 years. Well positioned in the federal and defense markets for continued growth despite current federal spending cuts. Attracting best in class talent at all levels. Strong support for training, leadership development, and structured yet flexible process infrastructure. Competitive salaries, good benefits.

Cons

Workload can be very intense (almost like a startup) so few if any 40 hour weeks. Few corporate standard automated systems beyond core communications and accounting so project Managers significant workloads for tools, team processes and ops setup. Teams outside the DC area need more engagement.

Pros

Company has 2 types of salary grades which affects how you earn sick leave or no sick leave at all. You start at 0, then earn your sick leave per pay period, vacation is the same. Get all benefits in writing before you sign on the dotted line.

Cons

If working at a remote site, you feel like the red headed step child. Our office situation may have been different, but I worked my buns off and fought for my salary increases with increased responsibility. I saw backstabbing by management to satisfy the customer. I really hated that.
