Pros

None because the cons outweigh anything positive. Overall, CACI is worse than USIS and KeyPoint combined!!!!!

Cons

-Performance managed regardless of workload availability -Threatened with a corrective action plan/termination if metrics are not met - regardless of availability of work -Zero support from upper management -Numbers driven company, you’re a slave and can be easily replaced by the next slave -Zero focus on the well-being of its employees -Intentionally create a sense of panic by threatening termination in hopes of a large number of employees quitting -Inefficient zoning, there is no such thing as “out of your area” unless it is out of state -Computer programs are constantly going offline or not working correctly, BUT you’re still expected to meet your metrics -Miserable employee culture, everyone is out for themselves when the work is scarce -Unrealistic expectations

Pros

Average income; good benefits. You work from home. Team Lead is helpful and easy to contact.

Cons

Though it is indicated by this company's codes that quality is priority, as with all private companies it boils down to production production production. As many cases as possible as quickly as possible meeting the minimum quality to clear the cases. This direction will eventually lead to CACI meeting the same fate as USIS. The dollar takes more and more precedence. One day the government will learn that every thing is based on the holy dollar in the private sector. And do not be fooled this is an investigator position. That is a title. All you will do is fill in the blanks. As the preponderance of this work is by private corporations, it is pretty much this way amongst all the companies. Of course you will read of those that state "great work, great company," but be assured, that is fluff. Anyone that truly does this work, and has done the work for any length of time, will tell you - it's a job. And is a job that will steal all or as much of your personal life as you allow. You will read the "family importance" in ad's for this company. But they will work you 7 days a week 12+ hours a day, if you allow it.

Pros

Two months after LGS Innovations' acquisition, I finally found one! Their 401(k) match is paid out for paid overtime. LGS was a great place to work; it's really too bad that it no longer exists.

Cons

LGS used to be a great company to work for. Then it was purchased by CACI. Our new CEO flew out to meet with us at Westminster, disregarded all of our concerns, and told us to suck it up and deal with the fact that we were purchased. Oh, and there was an immediate substantial layoff in nearly all support roles (HR, IT, etc.) with next to zero transition time. Even LGS leadership told us this was not handled well. After the transaction closed, the hits started coming. - Our 401(k) match has been reduced from a 1-for-1 5% match to a 1-for-2 4% match. - Vesting of the 401(k) is now a three-year cliff schedule, versus the previous more generous graduated vesting at LGS. - The actual deposit of the 401(k) contributions can be expected to take one to two weeks payday, which is already one week in arrears. - CACI's layer of expense report auditing exists to prevent employees from getting reimbursed. So many roadblocks are put in place that it is all but impossible to get reimbursed quicker than a month, and doing business with our customers is considerably more difficult as a result. Employees are now floating the cost of 3+ business trips. - Many employees have had money withheld incorrectly from their paychecks, including everything from incorrect healthcare costs to taxes being withheld for an incorrect state. - Did I mention that the CEO actually told us, in person, that he didn't care about our concerns??? - CACI has told us that our current benefits package (aside from the 401(k)) will remain the same for the next two years. After that, it's up in the air. Given that CACI's benefits package is a significant downgrade from what LGS offers, the writing is on the wall. - CACI has told us not to expect another round of layoffs, but many employees are nervous that another round is coming, especially given that the future of some of our products is now in question.
