Pros

Good salary, benefits are good/adequate to very good.

Cons

Like my title indicates - Depends upon client engagement and how that align with one’s personal career experience. That can be a significant factor. If I could offer any advice, it’d be to get involved in a client engagement where you have domain (industry) experience!

Pros

Flexibility, great work/life balance, diverse leadership at CAI only.

Cons

Super low pay as a lead so low I can barely afford rent. The recent structure changes made within CAI have been detrimental. Initially, I decided to come on as a new employee because I loved CAI’s mission but now I cannot foresee a positive outcome in the future. The HR person assigned to my team is condescending, unsupportive, and quite frankly a rude liar. I’ve dealt with micro aggression from a select few within CAI and with the client I work with. The client associates are underhanded and leadership seriously lacks diversity. The client does not appreciate authenticity, diversity, or difference which could benefit them greatly with their high turn over. Within CAI there is minimal organization and a lot of pushback when new ideas or suggestions are presented. No PTO offered for hourly employees and there’s no plan in place for career advancement.

Our culture is centered on our people to be their authentic selves which you have rightfully pointed out. Unfortunately, you do not see that within the client you oversee operations for—we encourage you to discuss this with your manager. Further, you expressed concerns about your HR partner. Please know that we have escalated your comment and will look more into the conflicts. Like our open-door policy states, openness and honesty are expected so that we can quickly address and resolve issues for a more trusting environment. If you have not had internal conversations, please reach out to your manager or escalate to upper management.
