Wonderful People

Pros

These are some of the nicest people I've ever met. They became like a family to me. Time off was never a problem and they made it easy to balance work and school.

Cons

Not many downsides. Of course, when you're just a student assistant, you make minimum wage. Sometimes an angry parent will yell at you over the phone.

Pros

Really great flexibility for student schedules. If you are a full-time employee they have excellent benefits. I like the excitement of being on a campus where there is always something going on. Working with students and young people is lots of fun. Most of the people in the housing department (my division) were really awesome people to work with.

Cons

The CSD I worked under was really bad at giving feedback and didnt respect my time. She never recognized any work I did.

Pros

Great people and great town. I had a lot of fun with my co-workers and it felt like a family environment. Also being in a college town atmosphere in such a beautiful location is a great mix.

Cons

Pay could have been better considering how expensive it is to live in the area. Sometimes management would not communicate effectively and would let multiple people get away with slacking while others had to make up for the lazy people.
