everything in the company was good

Avery Dennison was core of this company when I started in May of 1998. worked there for many years until CCL purchased the company. at first it wasn't bad and then over a couple years it started getting worse like management ganging up on Union employees. Definitely don't get hurt on the job because they will fight nail and tooth to keep you from getting paid for the time you missed. Plan on going to court. And as for that, I never was compensated and by that time I already gave up cuz it was time to retire. I did get along with a lot of management person now that was there still from the Avery Dennison days. and a lot of things that held this company together were little things like on your birthday. They would give you a little something at Christmas time give you something Thanksgiving a little something that all seem to stop. But the real heartbreak was when I was retiring. is that the company didn't even say thank you for 25 years service or even come to what I call a retirement party put together by my afternoon crew and not the company. So all I can say is good luck for the union employees at CCL Strongsville Ohio.
