Fast paced environment with tremendous responsibility due to both decreased employee morale associated with recent corporate restructure, and increase workload/responsibility assoc. w/ the same.

Cons

Beware of rogue managers w/ little disregard for appropriate behavior (race, gender- it's all up for grabs. HR has demonstrated that they don't care if you're inappropriate and disrespectful, as long as you get the job done)

If you work full time for CDI and not as a contractor, you will get laid off. It's only a question of when.

Pros

you will find pockets of people who work here who make this company great. They consistently are high performers and go out of their way for each employee they come across. The work is easy and not hard. It's more just being able to problem solve annoyances consistently.

Cons

They change things so often, it is impossible for anyone to get into a "groove". There is really no discipline for not doing a good job, and no reward for working hard. You will never feel like you are safe from lay-offs (believe me, you aren't) and the health care provided is an overpriced joke.

You can learn about how not to run a business.

Cons

Salary is typically horrendous over time, there are annual layoffs and no job security, the company is failing miserably and executive leadership takes no ownership of their failures. Company will almost never adjust your salary (they will cut your salary however), but will bring the next person in at more money. If you can't get what you want up front, you never will. The benefits plan is terrible and HR is not at all knowledgeable, or helpful, about government programs for employees. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians - and most of he chiefs lack vision.
