      Pros

      Wonderful people to work with. Great starting pay. Relaxed working atmosphere. Interesting things to work on. Wonderful working schedule.

      Cons

      Inconsistency with group organization - one engineering group will be always on time with deadlines and very organized in general, while another will be terrible with time management and quality of work - both groups get treated the same. Pay is not based on quality of work, pay is only based on position title. Benefits could be better - healthcare is nearly the same price as it would be on a private non-employer policy. Paid time off is terrible the first year. If the contract ends, you'll get laid off.

      Overtime hrs as necessary. Mostly friendly staff. Lots of room for movement if you are skilled and motivated

      Cons

      External management issues can turn some people off.
