      Pros

      I used to think it was the limitless income potential, but now I have no reason to work for CDW.

      Cons

      The current culture of moving accounts from account managers with no guarantee of replacement. This causes AM's to have to build a book of business over again. Currently at things are, if you sale a 100k deal at 1% (which is possible given the need to acquire new business and be competitive) you stand to bring home $100. That is 10% of $1000 profit. So what would it take to earn $1000 in commision at this rate? What message does this send to the account managers? Currently, CDW is more focused on generating revenue, and the adders that are there get them their profit, but leaves nothing for the account manager.

      Pros

      The benefits are decent. On-site fitness center and day care are convenient. the computer / technology industry is interesting and always evolving.

      Cons

      This place thrives on micro-management. If you need to be baby-sat by your boss, then you'd fit in quite well here. They say they listen to stake-holders, but only if the message is what they want to hear. It is a pressure cooker.......way too much stress.
