Pros

I came into this position as a direct referral, having no previous experience in Staffing or Accounting & Finance. My office, as well as the management made me feel very comfortable from the beginning, providing tools and supporting documents that were necessary for getting started with developing business. I was provided with a list of companies to work with, what to say, and how to "run my desk." There is ongoing support, starting with your formal training in Boston and is continued through conference calls, annual meetings, marketing etc. CFS is constantly searching for new and innovative ways to drive more business and look to their current employees to share successful tactics, etc. You are responsible for your own work and the business you bring in - the harder you work, the more you gain! There is essentially unlimited earning potential with this job as long as you are diligent and persistent.

Cons

It is highly competitive, which might not be the right fit for all personalities. You need to know that there is a lot of rejection associated in the BDM position and be okay with not seeing results for up to a year or more. There is no such thing as "overnight success" - you truly work for every dollar and piece of business that you get. It is a very experiential learning kind of job which sometimes requires you to think on your feet. In many scenarios, there is no "right" answer.

Pros

CFS has the best training in the industry. The leaders will hold your hand until you show you don't need it. The training continues to ensure your success. Along with training one week in Boston, the company has ongoing teleconference training involving many of the company's top producers. The Regionals and the VPs are always available to give advice. The company became an ESOP in 2014. This is a huge plus for the employees.

Cons

This business isn't for everyone. The staffing business isn't easy. If you trust the way CFS does business, you can be successful.

Pros

Somewhat decent pay, other than that nothing.

Cons

Micromanagement at it's finest, and a metrix that is ridiculous. This company is a very small fish, in a big pond, as competition is fierce and the only thing this "staffing" firm has going for it, is the CPA firms that seem to back it but in all actuality they really don't have anything to do with CFS. Great for entry level, if you are experience in the field of recruiting or selling...STEER CLEAR...RUN!!!
