Pros

-Solid base plus commission structure -Good benefits -Upper management are very much there to help you but it has to be done the "CFS way" or you are out -Solid co workers

Cons

-Expected to work outside of the 8a-5p -Very metrics driven, reporting every call, interview, send out you had each day on a spread sheer. Then sending that to the president and managers daily. -You will be asked to post a lot of jobs that are not "real" to increase foot traffic. -Cold calls sales are very much a part of this job. Can be seen as a pro but with the over saturation of staffing in the are those calls are not received well by hiring managers.

CFS Response

Thanks for your feedback. CFS does have a proven way of doing things that has led to many individuals being very successful. I am sorry that you viewed that as negative. Most employees view this as a positive. Like yourself, most of our new employees have no staffing experience when they start. We do hold a new person's hand when they start until they show we don't need to do it any longer. I am sorry CFS didn't work for you. We certainly gave it a good effort on our part when early indications were that it wasn't going to work out. I am, also, sorry that you were offended by a political discussion. I don't believe there were any serious discussions. However, we don't discourage people from sharing their opinion. Best of luck to you.

Pros

I had no previous sales/recruiting experience, but CFS welcomed me with open arms and provided the training required and tools to succeed. If you are the type of person who can work independently and are self-motivated, it is a great atmosphere, you will not be micro-managed which coming from a previous position in which I was, it was a breath of fresh air. They also have a company wide business casual (jeans) policy dress code. I also like that the VP's (Sr. Leadership) provide direct communication with all levels of employees, if you want to discuss a challenge you are facing, upper management welcomes a call and will take the time to discuss and work through it with you.

Cons

While you are provided a base salary + commission, there are no annual merit increases on your actual base (i.e. 1-3%) typically applied for inflation purposes.

Pros

This company has helped me grow in ways I never thought possible. Recurring was not a career choice I had ever thought of. But after being with this company I can't imagine doing anything else.

Cons

I have no cons for this company
