Pros

CGI is a good place to get your career started as they have many opportunities for advancement if you are proactive. In order to grow at the company you have to be a self starter and an autonomous individual. Sitting around and waiting will leave you stagnant. In terms of training there is no structural training program at CGI so you need to be able to pick up on things by asking the right questions and again being proactive. I think This is a good organization to work for they are more outspoken about social issues than you would expect and have good members within the organization.

Cons

No structured training. If you are not able to pick up on concepts mostly on your own you will not grow in the organization.
