      Pros

      Fairly easy job, decent pay, supervisors, coworkers, and managers are all generally nice people. Lots of parties, pot lucks, and food.

      Cons

      As a contractor working with the US Government, you are treated like a second class citizen by the government employees. There is no room for growth or vertical mobility, and there are no raises. You will stay where you are for the foreseeable future. Job can be rather boring at times, and management likes to remind you that you are replaceable. Very little PTO accrual and there is no sick pay.

      Every project goes red due to poor management decisions, not having qualified project managers, not managing client expectations, and lack of training. Big on verbal abuse with no consequences.
