      Pros

      Everyone pulls together to help when things get crazy. Nursing and ancillary staff truly care about our patients and families. High level of skill and most of the physicians encourage nursing input. Pay is ok.

      Cons

      Teaching hospital that has varying degrees of "new" doctor skills and attitude. Large disconnect between staff and higher level management. Large layoffs a few years ago has made everyone question their job security thereby creating and maintaining an environment of fear and doubt. Constant changes to cater to customer satisfaction has led to staff feeling very unsupported.

      Pros

      Many great HR individuals working on the front line to support managers and candidates Focus is on hiring new associates who truly understand how to deliver exceptional care and supporting families Hospital is well respected as a pediatric hospital

      Cons

      Consistently poor management and HR leadership Excessive workloads and very bureaucratic Recruiter role is very administrative leaving little time to truly source, recruit and hire HR has a long history of excessive turnover, demanding workloads and weak management HR doesn't have time to celebrate successes, create a rewarding work environment or make working enjoyable No professional development or career path

      Management- Worst Place I have ever worked

      The nurses and doctors are extremely skilled/talented/caring people.

      Cons

      Extreme concern over their "image" and not on making it a great working environment. Management are a bunch of cronies....and they treat their employee's like crap behind closed doors. Upper management needs to go....you have no idea how bad this place is since you only get your info from your cronies and they are not about to tell you the truth. If you are honest and tell the truth....don't expect to be there long.....I've seen many get booted out for speaking the truth. Most unqualified, dysfunctional place I've ever worked.
