Laid off 330+ people in multiple job areas. Offered a sleezy severance contract with illegal things like can't apply for unemployment or talk about employer....but if you don't sign it, you get nothing. Many of those laid off supposedly for their "titled position" have been replaced. Now advertising sign-on and relocation bonuses to RN's gor Corpus Christi. That's because they have screwed over too many and only new grads looking experience stay there until something better comes along.

This health system does not respect PAs or NPs at all. We are just the little minions that the physicians dump on. Our opinion means nothing. Every other hospital I've ever come in contact with treated APPs as professionals and included them in physician/provider decisions. Not TMF! They don't include us in anything, because they don't know what to do with us. Nor are they interested in learning what to do with us. I have never been somewhere that a physician refused to speak with me simply because I am a PA. That happens on a regular basis at TMF. Too many physicians with God complexes, and too many administrators and executives who care more about their salary, bonuses and looking good to everyone else than they do about patient care.
