      Pros

      Great work/life balance. Good people and laid back atmosphere. The 401k and benefits are some the best in the business. and the 9/80 work schedule is a big plus.

      Cons

      Upward mobility and employee development a bit slow. You have to move through different departments (jobs) to get pay increases.

      Pros

      Great benefits, great pay, and loyalty to employees makes this a company to work for over many decades (many have).

      Cons

      Because everyone has been there so long, the crowd tends to be of the older persuasion, have an older mindset and mentality, and they play a lot of politics that often leaves you feeling overachievement is not appreciated. They also are usually late to the game in terms of cutting edge technology used.

      Pros

      Positive culture, competitive pay, work-life balance, good benefits, lots of long-tenured employees, a great place for a 9-5, but not necessarily to grow

      Cons

      Company is a little stale, work tends to be very tactical, not a lot of room for creative/strategic thinking, the US/Venezuela political relationship is an ever looming risk, favoritism and a preference for Venezuelans tends to guide career growth, questionable corporate future as oil and gas demand declines with no signs that management plans to diversify, great people get laid off while Venezuelans with no discernable function continue to stay employed.
