At CITY, we strive to have the best Total Rewards Program (Compensation, Benefits, Performance Bonus Programs, Recognition Programs, etc.) for all our associates and leadership possible. We appreciate your feedback and we’ll pass on to our head of Total Rewards (varvarac@city-furniture.com) to check our Compensation Programs for your Role. We’re on it! We’ll have her check the compensation for the work, the market, competition, etc. to ensure we’re properly compensating our team. Pros

Pay is decent for hourly but not worth the workload. Decent benefits. Good for sales associate though. As a warning, do not ever accept MIT position as it actualy henders you.

Cons

Expectation for same pay, more work [needing to be a manager and a sales associate]. Managers at least in my location did not bother to train at all more so your just their extra hand and won't help you unless your friends or it benefits them. Most get into PIP purely for not being able to balance two roles at once. So many policy changes on a monthly basis and unprofessional employees. Many employees will be backstabbers and step on others to get by especially in orlando and near tampa locations.

In order to have the best performing team in the business, we got to have Great Leadership and Great Performance. Happy to say Sales & HR Leadership have this as a top priority this coming year. We would have loved to speak to you in person to help solve the specific situation right away and, maybe, get ideas that you would have like to see us implement for this coming year. At CITY, we strive to have the best Total Rewards Program (Compensation, Benefits, Performance Bonus Programs, Recognition Programs, etc.) for all our Associates and especially our Amazing Service Technicians like you! So, we appreciate your feedback and we’ll pass on to our head of Total Rewards & Delivery to check our Compensation Programs for your team in Miami. Our Leadership Team works hard to monitor compensation and make sure our team is hitting their comp goals. Regardless, we hear you and we’re on it! Please also know that we have several strategies to help our Service Technicians to increase their compensation through career pathing, Individual Development Program, future promotion opportunities (ex. we promote over 90% of our leaders from within, each promotion is about a 20% increase in pay from ST to SST to TL), overtime opportunities, taking advantage of our performance bonus programs and contests and so much more. We’re proud to say that our Top 10% of our Service Techs last year were compensated over $85,000. That’s pretty awesome in our industry. We hope you see that. Thanks again for the feedback.
