Pros

Weekly pay, ability to travel

Cons

They don't care what you have going on. I tried speaking to my supe about my child care issues and gave a time frame for when I would be able to AFFORD to put my child in day care. I was a float, I did not have a set store I had to be at. I was asking for a little accommodation until I could get my kid in day care. My supe was unwilling to work with me. When it came down to meeting with HR, HR told me they do not care about my child basically and I had to just figure it out. Also how ridiculous to have a policy that requires your probation to not allow you to take any days of for the next 3 months no exception. Like I'm a MOTHER, I had an emergency during my 1st week of probation and even though I communicated the situation my supe decided to use it against me to get me fired. On top of the fact that they blamed me for a truck not being processed that I DIDNT EVEN RECEIVE. So much for a family business... any ways had to post something on here to continue using the site lol

Pros

Work environment with most managers and associates.

Cons

Commission percentage is low, furniture sales is not as stable or reliable as it could be. The bonus structure and big positives are skewed towards south Florida. The changes recently made in the company have caused a lot of associates in central Florida to be frustrated and stressed. The money just isn’t coming in like it Was, and it’s mostly about Luck, which can be stressful to rely on. Those who are most successful have background in furniture sales or connections. This isn’t true for every showroom but I see frustration in some central Florida locations.
