Pros

CMA Consulting is one of the best companies I have ever worked for. It is large enough that there is always room to grow and expand but it is small enough that the Chief Officers and VP's know you by name. There is a family feel at CMA that makes you fee like you are part of something. Security in a position is not common in companies these days. But I have witnessed CMA do what ever they can to keep people even if it means finding another position that they might do better at. One of the biggest reliefs is I know I am secure in my job.

Cons

None really, but if I have to say something performance reviews aren't a standard practice so when it comes time for reviews and raises you do have to speak up.

Pros

Culture is changing for the better. I came to CMA from a large organization with mature policies and practices and was somewhat shocked by the lack of formal process. A number of employees with this perspective have been speaking up and contributing to development of corporate organization. In my observation it's making a difference. CMA's history of growth and prospects for the future speak to its strengths in delivering services. For a collection of reasons, some I believe beyond the control of the company, CMA fell behind in structural development. As we continue to grow and improve, it is very satisfying to be part of that.

Cons

There is no mentorship program or other formal activity to foster leadership. I believe this would empower employees currently sitting on creativity and ambition. This is needed to help CMA grow as an organization.
