Thank you for sharing your feedback. We pride ourselves on providing our team with great compensation. With a 24/7/365 operation, CN could not function without our dedicated employees, we thank you for your hard work and helping move our business and the economy forward. When we recruit talent to our operations teams, we spend a lot of time going over the working conditions and the realities associated with the railroad operating 24/7/365 days a year, including how being on call can disrupt your family life and important events. We encourage you to reach out to your manager or Human Resources Business Partner to share your thoughts.

If you value yourself, don’t work here

Pros

Pay and benefits. Paid training away from home with all expenses paid

Cons

Terrible management, constantly getting furloughed, suspended, or fired, management hides in the woods and watches you work, you will get in trouble if you don’t say the word over on the radio. They preach safety but really don’t care about your safety, if you get hurt, you’ll likely be fired, you’ll work away from home constantly, say goodbye to your personal life.
