good pay - good retirement benefits which I will be enjoying soon - I feel sorry for new people just starting

Cons

oppressive work environment - people are treated like slaves --- double shifts - no lunch break- return on less then 8 hours and do it again

Competitive wages with perks. Doesn't make up for the hostile environment driven from the executive level.

Cons

Threatened daily on internal conference lines that you or one of your employees could be terminated or "marched off the property" if things aren't fixed with your operation.

Pros

Excellent Compensation. Pension and benefits are amazing for railroaders. Challenging work which produces personal growth. Multi-national organization which is always a plus for career oriented associates.

Cons

Leadership is good at leading the business but again not diverse. Where are the minorities in leadership? They are non-existent. I wouldn't recommend this company to any minority workgroup. The company doesn't have any diversity and inclusion initiatives and that is a major issue. Racial tension exists everywhere, especially in union and even in management. HR department is one of the worst I've encountered.
