      OK company but caving to stupid return to office BS

      Cons

      New CEO is hellbent on getting us into the office for no reason whatsoever other than he likes to walk the floor and make sure people are “busy”. He’s making us all come into the office now more and notified us vis email. He hasn’t even been CEO for a year nor does he even work in the corporate headquarters.

      A lot of outsourced vendors. Sometimes get the feeling we work for them and not the other way around. Opening a ticket and getting it taken care of can be a nightmare. Calling the “help desk” is worse.

      TBH, no pros at all for technical folks working here. I wanted to rate this 0 for this company but 1 is the least number we can give on this platform. I left this company within 3 months of joining and I am on H1-B Visa. I was not impulsive to leave this job, just got bored out of work. So, please think before you join here. There are a lot of great companies in Chicago and the suburbs. 1. Yes, if you want to get paid without doing anything then this is the best place for you.

      Cons

      1. Worst Leadership (Tech - Data Science, Application Engineering, IT, etc) 2. Incompetent reporting managers 3. Heavily reliant on Contractors from Accenture, TCS, etc. which has led to subpar tech products, unoptimized internal tools, and pathetic internal politics. 4. There is no good system design/architecture for data projects. 5. And not a place for Master's students. Better to work somewhere else rather than here. 6. Subtle racism.
