Pros

One thing working with Cort. Especially Cort Events, is that you will always have constant work. 40 hours a week guaranteed, the people you work with as well are great and come from all walks of life. They also provide decent benefits and some paid holidays.

Cons

Trying to balance life and work at Cort is impossible. They will work you for as long as they want and if you try and leave early everyone shames you. The management is all over the place and never on the same page. The schedule is inconsistent and on a day to day basis, you arrive at a set time then it’s a guessing game how long you’ll be there. There is no communication other than “you’re needed” The OSHA violations at this place would give most a heart attack, lack of proper equipment and training, improper chemical storage, violations left and right run through the entire warehouse. The entire warehouse is a death trap. There is also heavy drinking all over the warehouse and use of heavy machinery while under the influence.
