      Pros

      Good Salary and benefits. Visions and Values based culture is solid.

      Cons

      Leadership has been in constant turnover for many years. Changes to processes, staff, and organizational structure are CONSTANT, leaving employees confused and overwhelmed. People are constantly in fear of losing their jobs. CSAA used to have a proud policy of not laying people off. They always found another position for employees. Now even the brightest and most experienced employees are tossed away.

      Work life balance...close to home

      Cons

      General lack of discipline, stratetic direction and focus. Without the shareholder pressure, the importance of running it like a real business is missing. Advancement seems to be based on whether you have someone championing you, rather than skills, achievement or competence.

      Pros

      Pay is on par with industry standards. With the economy is such a state, pay is essential.

      Cons

      Always re-inventing the wheel. Since 1998 the process seems to change every 3 years. They worry too much about customer service scores and fail to follow the policy terms.
