Pros

1. Good benefits 2. Good compensation 3. Good people who work hard but are not treated well 4. Ability to work remotely when not traveling 5. Good sick plan

Cons

1. No interest in employee development 2. Terrible vacation package - 13 years of service, still only got 3 weeks vacation. "Use it or Lose it" policy made it impossible to take a vacation in the first quarter unless you took minimal vacation the year before 3. No training 4. Revolving door of leadership results in no relationship with your manager 5. Constant reduction of bottom line results in constant reduction of employee benefits and care 6. Employees are very isolated - In the 13 years of employment I had over 10 managers, none of whom knew who I was, what I was doing, what my strengths and weaknesses were, etc. The only reason I stayed for 13 years was my relationship with my clients. They treated me like family. All CSC gave me was a paycheck 7. In 13 years I received 4 raises totaling 10% (from day 1 to end of employment) - despite receiving reviews of "exceeds expectations") 8. Promised bonuses were paid only 3 times over 13 years 9. No investment in developing my practice - the only reason I wasn't laid off 10 years ago was because I developed relationships with my clients and they called me (not CSC) when they needed my services. A sales executive received commission on my work despite having no relationship with the client. 10. Constant reorgs 11. Multi-billion dollar technology firm years behind on current technology 12. Forced vacation

Pros

Working from home which is both good and bad, as although convenient they expect 24/7 support because of it for vast majority of roles

Cons

Constant cutting of workforce to meet Wall St expectations. Clients migrating from mega deals of the past resulting in smaller deals if any going forward. No raises 3 years, forced vacations, medical and vacation benefits being cut for current and future employees, and any bonuses a thing of the past for all but C-level. Treat you like a number vs showing commitment to employees. Strategy is all on making the numbers work, regardless of impact to employees or supported customers. Workers feel the pain, and customers don't renew because they sense out cutest al costs bs any sort of commitment. Managent says bear with them as will be better in long run, but after several years of nothing but cuts with no rewards, hard to stay committed.

Pros

Allowed to work remote from home

Cons

Very poorly organized internally; reorg all the time; product offerings are poorly managed; senior managers treat employees like numbers, not skilled technical talent. Good people let go while political animals stay and keep things awful. Technical talent has been drained. Salary and benefits under market.
