Pros

I wrote a big writeup on how this is a stepping stone company but Glassdoor looks like it lost that review. So I will just sum it up instead: CT is super intense to work at. You learn a ton and get tasked with responsibilities that will stretch your abilities. The downside is that you are closely monitored on work performance and if you don't measure up, you will end up burnt out. CT is good as a stepping stone, many of my former coworkers have gone on to be super successful including working at Google or Apple's secret lab.

Cons

Management is super intense. You have to record your time in Time Doctor and then each work item rated and reviewed by your manager. If you struggle, this causes lots of stress. If you do well, then you get promoted and get raises fast.

Pros

work at home, bonus opportunities

Cons

it is supposed to be common work culture that feedback is welcome, but that is only the case if you are giving feedback on a co worker, NOT a supervisor. growing too fast and not open to efficient solutions for common problems with start ups growing too fast.

You weren't punished for giving feedback to your supervisor. You were given several written and verbal warnings about basic, but significant mistakes in accounting tasks that continued up until you were let go. As a senior, experienced professional in your field, those types of recurring mistakes and an unwillingness to learn from them was what resulted in your dismissal. Hopefully you take our feedback on those concerns to heart and work to improve! Best of luck. For candidates considering working here- we highly value each team member and will invest in your training and support so you can be successful. However, if you don't take feedback and work to meet the standards needed for your role, we will let you go. We think that's common sense and fair. If you don't, probably not the best place for you.
