Pros

You get to work remotely.

Cons

This company provides a one-size-fits-all assembly line approach to marketing that basically creates a lot of busy work for the employees and provides little to no value to its clients. Clients are billed for this busy work, of course, and often see little return on their investments, if any. The workload is far too heavy for most employees to have the time do much of anything meaningful for the clients. Pay is substandard for the industry. When I worked there, remote employees were payed only 70% of the substandard wages the employees at headquarters were paid. Management claimed this was because they preferred employees working on location. This is disingenuous, as the company actively recruits remote workers from all over the world and even boasts about their dispersed workforce on their website.

Again, concerned about the legitimacy of this review. It contains a haphazard regurgitation of inaccuracies previously brought up in other reviews that have been previously addressed and do not reflect the realities of work here. We staff such that our teams can handle 2x to 3x the work paid for by our clients. In fact, we always provide in excess of the time paid for by our clients. Our clients see the benefit of that in a myriad of ways. We end up being an exceptional value both in terms of results, work produced, and expertise. That shows up in a client retention rate that has improved nearly every year we're in business and is multiples better than 99% of other digital marketing agencies. Remote staff have some variables in base pay, but our draw pay programs effectively negate that. Why vary the base pay? Our headquarters are in Los Angeles (one of the highest costs of living in the United States) and team members who work in office have a required commute. Variable pay based on in office or not, and based on the region of the US someone is hired in is also quite commonplace. Finally, team members have a standardized draw system which allows them to earn in excess of their base pay every month, based on a standardized performance metric. That draw program is universal by role, so the outcome is anyone, anywhere, earns based on performance, not location. Whether you're in Los Angeles or rural Kansas, your draw programs give you the opportunity to earn well in excess of your base and on the same scale as every other team member in your position.

Pros

The salary is paid on time.

Cons

Time doctor is just an uncomfortable experience to work with. The team leads and management give off a fake sense of “ we care about you”, but if something is wrong, they drop you so quickly. The workload is extremely inconsistent

I doubt this is a genuine review. Two reasons: 1. We don't "drop" team members quickly. We have a very structured process of identifying what's wrong, coaching through it, and if it comes to it, finally parting ways. We invest a lot in our teams, and we want to make sure that we've exhausted the opportunity for a team member to improve before we let them go. 2. The workload is not inconsistent. The web design and dev team has been growing by 30% to 40% year over year. We're almost always hiring for the roles within that department.

Pros

There are so many reasons which I can write here, but some of the main and best reasons to work with CT are: 1. The company always thinks about the growth of the employees. 2. Flexibility - You can work at the choice of your place. 3. There are lots of ways to improve your skills, if you work with CT. 4. Get chances to earn more through various bonuses and "earn more" policies. 5. Appreciations always motivate me in CT along with true feedbacks.

Cons

As far as I know, no one can be 100% perfect in this world, but the perfectness comes that how you approach to handle any situation. And here CT management and seniors players very important roles, where you can share your points and more importantly you will definitely get some positive solutions, if you have any issue or concern.
