A place to grow

Pros

I've been working at this company for a long enough period of time now, and everyday is exciting more than the previous one for me. My job role is always growing and that's because I love what I do, the company would support any passionate employee to grow and go above and beyond. No company likes to have ordinary hard working employees with normal output, it's very normal to feel that you are moving nowhere if you have nothing to add to the overall company processes, hard working is required everywhere but being smart and talented about what you do is what counts. It's very normal to hear people complaining about their previous employers when they just don't fit for the job requirements and challenges, but on the other hand - it's very rare to hear from the people who are enjoying their time working there. For me, joining this company's team helped me to achieve great success on the personal and the career levels, the whole team communicate very clearly in a way that makes you feel you are really at home. One of the most recent great benefits is the profit share program which is really the most generous profit sharing program I've ever heard of. The program works in a very fair way, your "smart" hard work will get you higher profit share in return, which keeps encouraging employees to be really creative on solving problems using their best skills. If ever having a problem with someone or a job - just go and speak to the people in charge, rather than just leaving a silly reviews on the web.

Cons

I've encountered some issues related to the work load when I've first been hired but the management helped in solving most of my issues with clear communications and understanding. I would say no employee would have a bad time here unless they don't do what's their job role specifies.

Great Co-Workers, Terrible Upper Management

Pros

Most of the employees are great, hard working people who you can easily become friends with. Some benefits include Friday lunches, yoga Wednesdays, and there used to be monthly events but those seem to have petered out this year. There is the potential to learn a lot, and there's never a lack of work for those who like being busy.

Cons

The fact that the CEO felt the need to post a Glassdoor review for his own company is pretty telling - otherwise his approval rate is 0%. The company culture used to be much better, but now it's pretty much nonexistent. The CEO is a micromanager who doesn't really understand what his employees' jobs entail and then undervalues them. A lot of people have been quitting in the last few months and he doesn't replace them, he just shifts the responsibilities to other employees (whether they're qualified or not) who already have huge workloads. Or he replaces them with cheap overseas/remote labor, obviously to increase profit margins despite undercutting quality of work. He also has an inordinate amount of trouble with the female employees, all who eventually quit because they feel picked on, disrespected, or straight up harassed - so women might want to be wary. Overall it's a shame, because the actual employees are great - they just have to bear the burden of having a terrible leader.
