Pros

I learned a lot about online marketing, especially working with so many various industries. Established a good basic knowledge of how SEO works for websites. Enjoyed the copy-editing parts of the job. I enjoyed my co-workers. There's a lot to be learned here if you can stick it out.

Cons

Everyone was super-stressed. There was no work-life balance, plenty of training videos yet no time to properly go through them. I got hired at a time when a handful of people quit/left the department within my first 2-3 weeks of working there, and I had to manage 25 accounts with little to no training (mostly hands-on). I was working off-the-clock overtime every day and only making $18/hour. They discouraged it, but there was no other way to get all the work done in a KPI-driven work environment. After finally getting the accounts current, I was fired for not working up to their standards. They admittedly hired me at a bad time and threw me to the wolves (I was managing a total of 30 accounts after 3 months of working there). The employees they hired after me were allowed 2 weeks of training and a few clients to onboard. My advice to people looking to work here is to negotiate your pay before you accept the offer. Make sure you understand their yearly salary because when they broke it down for me, the hourly pay was much lower than I had anticipated.

Pros

The chance to work remotely, which provides some flexibility, I saw as a plus.

Cons

You will be expected to work 50+ hours a week to receive any profit-sharing. You won't receive any profit sharing if you don't hit your KPI's. You will immediately be overloaded with more work, in-house meetings, and client calls than you can reasonably manage. The owner of the business it quite a piece of work. You will see him more than you care to.

Pros

I liked my co-workers but most quit

Cons

When I joined this company I was under the impression that it was much larger than it really is and that it would grow. However, almost all of the jobs have been outsourced overseas and they really only had sales people (aka digital strategists) or account managers in house. Most in house employees didn't last more than 1-2 years and client "happiness" and retention was a huge problem which I believe was a result of the business model/company structure (i.e. outsourcing to save a buck and not delivering on services promised to clients).
