Pros

You get an hour break at most locations.

Cons

No matter how much you think you are being paid above average, you are underpaid bc there is no overhead; you are the overhead - it's a one-man show, You have no support. So when it comes to everything you can think of to make a clinic run....you are it!

Pros

-My store manager and pharmacy manager are amazing and lovely people -My colleagues in the pharmacy are great and easy to work with -The computer interface in the pharmacy is easy to learn

Cons

-District and corporate management cut hours and staffing without regard to the impact on customer service and employee well-being -Extremely stressful especially due to angry customers and short staffing -Customer complaints are predominantly surrounding issues at the corporate level (i.e. automated systems) which can't be addressed by store staff, but there is no way for employees to communicate this to corporate, thus there is mounting aggression from customers who continue to be frustrated and employees can't do anything but apologize, but offer no solution other than encouraging them to complain, which really only hurts the employees. -Pay is far too low for the stress and work of the job

Pros

There are a lot of career opportunities it just comes at a price. Be prepared to work 60+ hours a week depending on department/ manager.

Cons

At CVS there is no work-life balance. You are overworked and are expected to keep up with production. I would work all day and half the night for releases, and be expected to be online the next day. The team was also expected to do so, this caused so many mistakes in our releases. Everyone was overworked. Also they don't care about their employees health. I had given some feedback on this topic of being overworked and the team being overworked and they say that it shouldn't be happening, but no one did anything to fix it. Side note they are CVS HEALTH and don't even have COVID days for their employees.
