Pros

Don't know enough to comment.

Cons

After having to complete a lengthy job application you're required to record a video of yourself answering screening questions as an additional step of the application process. It is a painful process that requires multiple takes to get a version you can stomach, let alone something you’d share with a potential employer. Adding this extra step is touted as a strategy to increase efficiency and save recruiters time but from my perspective, it is just another opportunity for even more bias and discrimination to be added to the hiring process. Also, CVS Health may be able to use/sell/distribute your image/video/likeness in any way they see fit. There is no transparency in how they can use your image/video/likeness or how long they will keep them. What they also aren't transparent about is if an actual person does the initial review or if an AI does it or if AI is involved in any part of the hiring process. It has been well documented that some AIs have a built-in bias because of the humans who develops/codes them can add their implicit biases.

Pros

Okay pay...but not competitive. Nothing else.

Cons

The training is HORRENDOUS. Be prepared to be in training with 100 other reps. The training is virtual. That’s perfectly fine. However, the leaders are more concerned about your webcam being over vs if they are answering questions or teaching content. The training is SELF GUIDED so you spend HOURS READING work instructions and doing scavenger hunts. This is the WORSE TRAINING environment. Smes are condescending and rude and offer little assistance. The training is so bad and people constantly express their confusion and lack of assistance and it’s not even acknowledged. Overall Very unorganized, HIGHLY unprofessional, and you find out after the fact this is not directly through CVS you will be a contractor through a 3rd party pharmacy client. RUN. DO NOT ACCEPT.

Pros

Work from home options are available for COVID; otherwise, there's nothing positive about this job.

Cons

Woefully unprepared lead trainer, which you have to listen to for 4 weeks in a virtual training system. Trainer needs to be prepared and take presentation classes. He nervously repeats the last part of sentences ("Next we're going to look at our binder...look at our binder..."), uses a sing-song voice on almost every word he says, and delights in singing the "Underdog" theme over and over. The in-person, on-site team in the training room are equally as demotivating, threatening "corrective action" at least 4 times a day. For a company that teaches employees to treat customers with respect, they would do well to treat new employees with the same respect. Once you start your job after the 4-week training, you are allowed 2 minutes of personal time a day. 2 minutes, of which they remind you of daily. All for a little more than minimum wage. Not worth the trouble and stress.
