Felt very undervalued as a hard-working employee
Pros
Flexible on hours and work from home. Good location, just outside of the city. Decent parking available. Good food in the cafeteria.
Cons
(Speaking only about the department I was in)... poor management/leadership, all employees extremely overworked (50-60+ hours per week and managers don’t care/expect it), not collaborative or supportive. I felt lied to and mislead about the position in order for me to leave my old employment and work for CWT. On multiple occasions, my job responsibilities changed dramatically, and as a regular FTE, they view you as just another worker and don’t care about your career progression/development, which even includes internal movement. This particular department would rather keep someone in a position they didn’t like then help them move internally to a better fit.
