      It was fun but they dont tell you when they qre going to lay you off.

      Pros

      Fun atmosphere, great training, great pay, great customer service skills, enjoyed going to work every single day i woke up.

      Cons

      Bad hours, bad management, poor communication, few raises, stuck up, etc. also never let anyone know they were laying them off until the day before it was going to happen

      Pros

      I loved dealing with the customers - hunters, fishermen, outdoors people, especially Native and Inuit people - some of the best people I've dealt with. One especially from Northern Quebec will stay in my mind forever because of his unique name, and he told me he "loved me" for telling him his new gun was in!

      Cons

      A new supervisor got her position under . . . .questionable circumstances, and qualified in an . . . . .interesting way. The best, most productive supervisor and assistant that place ever had were let go, for no other reason than someone else wanted the job, and she was willing to do ANYTHING to get it.

      Pros

      Co-workers are generally friendly and down to earth, no real drama. Good benefits. Some recognition for goals achieved. Clean and organized. Top notch products to sell. Some nice sales incentives, gift cards, paycheck spiffs, etc. Always a nice employee discount.

      Cons

      Work a lot of weekends, but that is true of most retail. Ability to move up promised to be easy, not really from what I saw and experienced. Some staffing cuts come out of the blue without warning.
