Worked there for multiple years. Was under appreciated and paid poorly. New hires who are just starting off are getting paid the same rate, if not more, than the people who have seniority. Many of the “teachers” there don’t do anything to stimulate the children’s minds or engage them in proper educational development. They sit in a chair or scroll on their phones while the kids run around aimlessly, playing with toys that rarely get cleaned. Management is a circus. The director is way in over their head. Doesn’t help when help is desperately needed. Expects lower level management to tackle heaps of workload that they are not qualified to do. Management is clueless in knowing how to run a successful business and doesn’t do anything until they absolutely have to. Communication skills SUCK and most of the time you don’t know about schedule changes or transitions until the day of or whenever you walk into your shift. Management is too scared to talk to you straight to your face and would rather send out a mass email to the entire staff rather than address issues 1 on 1. Management gives seniority teachers more workload and expects them to do tasks other teachers are not expected to do just because they are “dependable” and “will put up with it”. Teachers are burnt out and overworked but management does nothing about it and says “nobody is coming in for interviews”. Turnover rate is laughable, all across the board at Cadence. Teachers are still working there who should have been fired a long time ago. Management just tries to stuff those rooms full of kids so they can meet their quota and get money into the business. Upper management shows favoritism. There is no where to go, and no competitive work environment. Tuition rates are exceedingly expensive and keep going up. The only reason this location charges so much is because they have a piece of paper saying they are accredited. There is nothing special or different about Cadence Academy. I would not bother wasting your time, effort, or money working here or placing your children here.
