Pros

Within leadership there are lots of opportunities to learn new things if you ask, and align yourself with strong leaders.

Cons

Tough "good old boys" mentality amongst management. Hard for underrepresented groups to break into/stay in leadership. Compensation is competitive within big-box hospitality, but will never be able to compete with many other industries (I realize it is unrealistic to think it would, but it's a reality that this is why many folks leave).

Pros

The atmosphere in the casino is really laid back. All the bartenders are really friendly. 40+ hours available if wanted.

Cons

long hours can be very tiring and shifts until 6am are norm. A lot of international workers which can be good and bad at the same time.
